We interrupt Lupin’s regularly scheduled pillaging to wish everyone a Happy Pi Day.

Happy Pi Day! I’ll be celebrating by having a PIZZA Pie. Chicago style. Made in a very small cast iron skillet. But the one thing that tops Pi Day is that smile on Iggy’s sweet little face!

I’m just trying to imagine a human variant of this: cowboys/cowgirls in a wrestling ring, suplexing (great word, btw!) each other; or big buff dudes in tights chasing each other around a barn. Yeah … in either scenario, it’s much cuter when cats do it …

Thomios: Let us all adjourn to the Royal Banquet Hall where we will celebrate pie day with all sorts of sweet and savoury pies. Including pizza, cheese and onion pie, and cheesecake from Where We Know Not.

I don’t follow wrestling, and I just came across the word “suplex” yesterday, and had to look it up.

A plea for help in Nashville TN area:

If you know of anybody in the Nashville TN area who has room for outdoor, 1-year old feral, and fixed cats (3 total, 2 bonded) I am trying to rehome some from my complex before I move. Especially pertinent now as I suspect a new-to-me cat is pregnant. I want to catch her, but know I’ll only catch the ‘tamed’ ones. They would likely make great garage or shed cats! They do come up to me, but are still skittish so I do not pet them.

Happy PI day to everyone. Here in St. Louis we are also celebrating 314 day as that is the main area code. Work actually let us wear T-shirts that promote St. Louis. Of course I’m wearing a Cardinal shirt.

I’m celebrating by making catnip infused tuna cat treats loaded with nutritious ingredients for my buddies Abbie Tabby (Abbie McFlooferson to her followers), and Finlay Orange Boi, he’s more of a strawberry blonde now. Abbie is excited.

I had to look up “suplex.” I last watched pro wrestling in the mid ’60s. The body slam was about the most advanced technique back then, especially when combined with the airplane spin.

OT: Stormy weather. Tornadoes to the north, west and south of me; severe storm warning for my county. So far, three fatalities in Indiana and a dozen injuries in the counties just to the north. The extent of the damages won’t be known until daylight.
