Does anyone else remember a series of cartoons in MAD magazine in the early 1960s called “A MAD Look Through the Microscope”? One of the panels showed a microbe showing another microbe a drawing of a human body and saying, “I call it ’Artist’s Conception of the World We Live In.’”
You already did, I have a cold. If you wanna get a free ticket outta here, just stay there and hold on, I’ll sneeze and all your dreams will come true.
I think this kind of stuff is fascinating. :) I remember watching the coolest Discovery Channel show where they focused on the unseen world of microbes and stuff in our every day lives. I specifically remember the little bugs that live on your eyelashes for some reason, and seeing the heat around a person blow drying their hair with an infrared camera. They also showed the disgusting behavior of flies and what happens when you get food poisoning. Very interesting! Our bodies sure are marvels.

Has it ever occurred to anyone that our universe might be micro-world within a larger organism?

Don’t go there! Scientists think you would be in danger of being expelled into the void.

If they’re E. Coli, they can really get around their Universe.
