Dad could be the star of…..zilch.

Is “Father Knows Zilch” a television adaptation of his Dopey Dad comic strip?

Starring Jim Carrey. Or Ed Nelson. Or Dana Carvey. Or…

More a remake of “Wait till your father gets home”.

Dad is stupid until you turn maybe 25 and find out dad is quite smart

That’s been the basis of the family sitcom since the 60s.

How ’bout Leave it to a believer.

So ends this five-day arc. Tomorrow’s strip will be a one-off.

As I said on Monday, this story certainly reminds me of myself as a kid when I made a hole in a cardboard box. This story arc was not as interesting as some Calvin and Hobbes arcs have been but it was funny, it made some good points which are still very relevant to modern society and it reminded me of childhood fun.

My personal favourites include the wedding-burglary arc which was reprinted earlier this year, the two duplicator arcs and the Snow Goons arc which reminded me of Stephen King’s The Shining.

Just curious: has Calvin EVER been spanked for his many misdeeds, or is corporal punishment now banned?

Unfortunately for Calvin, his dad is not a Zilch Knower.

I guess all of those who chanted “Never Trust Anyone Over Thirty?” just grew up.

Why are Calvin’s parents are always against Calvin having any fun? This is exactly why he acts out at school!

How about “All in Calvin’s Family”? Joe Biden could be type cast as Meathead and Camela Harris could play George Jefferson and do the George Jefferson Dance.

……….always need a new project!!!!!

I like how Calvin and Hobbes were able to keep the flow of the conversation going after they teleported up to the branch of the tree they ended up sitting on…

And the kid is a know-it-all!

Or an off switch or a plug.

well, it’d be worth some laughs at least. :J

Nowadays, Calvin could go the streaming route.

If this strip was being produced in current time, wonder Dad would even both with tv.

Hallmark would take it.
