…..TJ should really be offering condolences…..he might be once Brad discovers what marriage is often all about after the little ones arrive….a whole lotta work and a whole lot less attention from Toni as it will be focused more on the young ones now….. unfortunately, Brad seems like the type that needs a lot of attention himself and might be hurt and/or a bit resentful.

ok, Toni just “proposed” to Brad…..but let’s give Brad a little credit here, too…..he was the one who originally proposed, when there was no way of knowing what the answer would be…….Toni already knew hers was a no-risk, no chance of being shot down proposition. In my mind, Brad was still the person who proposed….he just had a long wait for the “is that your final answer?”, lol

Whenever I recall TJ talking about his money, I always got the feeling in the way he talked that he had plenty of money. Still plenty IS relative. He could easily drop 2 or 3 k getting the business going. He’d have to have plenty of plenty to lose that investment.

Is it just me or is this hug screaming out “I’ll never part with MY Brad!” Is TJ happy or shaken? Maybe he was counting on Brad to be a key business partner or worker.

From what I’ve gathered over the years. I believe TJ has a few hundred grand in that trust fund and maybe much more. The trust fund could be used as collateral for a loan. Especially if it is made at the same bank that holds his trust fund. He might even get a lower interest rate if that is the case.

How does TJ manage to yell with his teeth clenched?

Also, regarding TJ’s hugging Brad. I’ve always taken TJ to be of Hispanic heritage. Hispanics are usually very open in their displays of emotion. So his reaction does not surprise me.

TJ’s plan is starting to work out… and its a fairly good tale… but Brad’s plan is a good fairy tale.

I’m not convinced TJ is all that happy with this news. Look at his eyes on these three panels: Surprise/shock in the first, an “oh boy…uhhh…really?” look in the second, and eyes closed with downward-turned brows in the third. I don’t do the body language thing, but none of this looks like genuine happiness to me.

We shall all see…eventually.

I’m thinking TJ’s next scheme is Bachelor Party.

Telling the parents may be a formal affair that requires them both being there. There is nothing formal about TJ.

If I were to guess, I would say that he is saying, “Awesome”, in response to TJ’s outburst. But since it’s very distorted, it’s hard to say that for sure.

It involved his so-called “best friend” Brad and made the DeGroot Parents look like idiots. TJ got caught and paid the the money back when he SHOULD have gone to jail.There are many other examples of where “old Smilely” has taken advantage of Brad.
