Re the camp directress: artsy people are always over the top…looks, voice, dress. They usually don’t do finances very well though…so there will be lots of additional costs which Tiff can afford. It wouldn’t surprise me if Quill quit and went back to Australia….who could handle Tiff for weeks at a time?

I had similar thoughts. Was looking forward to how the DeGroot parents were going to handle the little scene that Luann created. Did they go down to dinner, did he stay with them or was he thrown out? I hate it when Mr Evans jumps around and leaves us hanging with a story line.

No worse than the American tourist who came up to me when I was working in Niagara Falls, and asked me where he could go skiing… trouble was , it was July, 80f and the skis on his roof rack WEREN’T water skis!!! (True story :s )

Everyone knows that if it was July and the temperature was 80f, he never would have made it that far as his snow tires would have melted.^^Nope, it’s a true story, there are Americans who really seem to think that even in Summer, you will automatically hit snow, as soon as they cross the border, into Canada.

@Brdshtt In a similar vein, that same Summer, another American came up to me (I was working at a Hotel on Clifton Hill) , after my shift and said to me “Where are the trees?” Now, on the Canadian side, facing the Falls is Victoria Park, and it is FULL of trees, something I wasted no time in pointing out to him; he looked at me again, and with just a touch of annoyance in his voice repeated his “Where are the trees?” question! So I can’t remember exactly what I said then, but I’m sure it was something like “Ummm…. What kind of trees are you looking for?” , to which he answered… “You know, the big Canadian forest where I can hunt moose and bear!”to which I answered bluntly: “You’re about 500 miles too far south, and about 150 years too late!” (This was about 20 years ago) The point being that Bears and Moose have been extinct in Southern Ontario since the 1840s or so

If one ran a camp like this it would beat working for a living.

I don’t think you actually need to show it, if you set it up properly, which I think Greg has done. I think we can rely on Lu’s accounting of it after the fact to Bern/Delta. “Showing it” is what you do in the movies where you might need a “visual” like that to make the point. I think we already get the point here, without needing the “visual.”

I am cool with Crystal winning to Luann in some way that is reasonably fair. I would be cool with seeing Luann lose to a different smarter villain. I am not OK with Crystal going completely evil. As to major villainess, I think Greg may well make the new teacher a vampy rival for Quill’s affection (and therefore villain to Luann); we have to wait to see. Tiffany hasn’t a chance or a clue.

Otherwise I think (as someone already suggested) we WILL see Quill wondering away from the camp for time with Luann. Only time will tell.
