As Uncle Joe Stalin is rumored to have said, “Who votes doesn’t matter. Who counts the votes matters!”Who counts our votes? Why, corporations do!

Why do Republicans and Tea Partiers worship the founding fathers? Because they only allowed wealthy white men to vote.

Point of view. Voter suppression or voter validation ? See over 100 charged with voter fraud in Cincinnati and 99% dems and many were poll workers or officials.

It’s an alternate reality in that Mike Doonesbury and his friends are fictional, but it reflects reality. And I’m no relation to the Chief Justice who bears my name.

Looks like Mr. Trudeau has built himself a fantasy world, where the GOP is falling apart, and the only possible way they can win elections is to pass voter i.d. laws, gerrymandering, and court decisions. I’ve got news for you, Mr. Trudeau. The GOP is alive & well, and doing fine. We just need a conservative leader who inspires us all.

People who are white and not rich being right wingers is nothing new. The Tea Party did not invent that phenomena.

Stealing elections is how the Democraps win! Oh, that’s a good one! How about Dubya and Florida in 2000? Or did your memory suddenly fail you?

I think any vote that’s suppressed is criminal. I also believe that any voter fraud should result in jail time regardless of which party they are a part of. The will of the people will not be disenfranchised because they’re not the right color or gender.

I just finished reading all 3000+ pages of Robert Caro’s, “The Years of Lyndon Johnson.” Our democracy has been corrupted for a long, long time, and his work details and exposes the corruption and the game of politics as it’s been played from way back when. Check these books out; the work is a masterpiece and for me a tremendous education that I didn’t get in school or university.

I read new Sunday episodes of Doonesbury return this Sunday, but daily Doonesbury reruns continue until November 18, 2013 because of Garry’s “Alpha House” online show project.

I like Tigger’s comments! Both sides have done voter fraud as far back as their have been votes. They will still do it in the future. It is not just one side doing it and the other is pure as snow.

Why does the left hate rich white men? Sounds racist.

I find it odd that only Dems could possible commit voter fraud. I’m guessing that just the fact that someone votes for a Dem implies that it MUST be fradulent. If that same person goes to another polling place and votes for a Con, then it’s ok, no problem. Am I correct?

Funny how the other side is so intimidated by their nemesis that it knows so much about them without bothering to consider their perspective. They know so much about them that all they can do is slander and ridicule them because they know so little about their own kind.

If I am denied the right to vote because I do not have a valid picture ID, what can I do? Can I walk into a federal court and see judicial relief and the chastisement of the person who violated my rights? No! Why? Because you NEED A PICTURE ID TO ENTER A FEDERAL COURTHOUSE! If you need a picture ID to vindicate your right to vote, what is wrong with having to produce an ID to vote?

I wonder how Republicans ever win an election, when Democrats promise everyone free money, except the top ten per cent, and all the Republicans have to offer is self-reliance.

Guess which political party gerrmandered Illinois so Latinos only got one congressional district instead of the two their population would merit. Don’t everybody answer at once.

He doesn’t hate the freedoms he has – he hates the idea that everyone has the same freedoms. These guys are the same ones that do not want guns to be legal for the unwashed masses, but they are just fine for them(or the people they hire for security) Just like those that want to tell us how we are to be medically covered, but they opt out for better insurance. All politicians should be forced to have only the privileges that their constituents have and the same protection.

If Obamacare is so good, why do they get a different plan(paid for by us)? Why do they get secret service armed guards at our expense, when many of us can not carry a firearm(even when we are law abiding citizens)? Why do out police carry forearms and drive automobiles that are not legal and/or available to the residents? Why are we becoming a police state, but can not even protect ourselves(while the police cower in their precincts and watch the riots on TV)?

I was reasonably convinced that Barack Obama was and is what he said he was. Now, not so much. He has been a dismal failure as President and there are still some nagging questions about who the hell he really is. I read an article yesterday about Obama’s background, or lack of it.

There have been no, not even 1, old girlfriends come forward and talk about what he was like back in the day. There have been no, not 1, old classmates who say that they went to school with Barack. Not from Hawaii, not from California, not from Columbia and not from Harvard.

Prior to being elected to the State legislature in Illinois the man is completely absent. When I find the link I’ll post it here. Hope everyone is having a good day.

In my life time, there have been six Republican presidents, including one that I voted for. I can’t seem to recall demanding to see their grades either, so you’re wrong about that. Even if I did desperately want to see them, I would have no right to under the law.

    @DavidHuieGreen

    The average Tea Partier is—

WhiteMaleWent to collegeUpper income bracketConservative to reactionaryRepublican--So if they’re not average, they don’t count?-And you know I tend to believe anything you tell me, but wonder if you are absolutely certain of your characterization. I notice Patrik Jonnson writing “Indeed, polls suggest that tea party activists are not only more mainstream than many critics suggest, but that a majority of them are women (primarily mothers), not angry white men.” and I wonder how he was so misinformed..-Personally, I have noticed some were women and refuse to believe they should be discounted simply because they are women or minorities within the movement. (I don’t agree with the movement, other than its opposition to committing acts of war against anybody in Syria, but then I never require everybody to agree with me, would question my conclusions if they did.)-For that matter, the ones I met didn’t strike me as college material or upper income bracket.

Trudeau says he isn’t coming back right now because all the lies and crimes being committed by Democrats right now, and as he ignored the IRS crimes, EPA funding and study biases, Benghazi fiasco, grow-op pollution misery, and Syria pro-Taliban stories, he can’t find anything to say now.
