Seems fitting, since in Rosa’s view, they’re both flakes!… – Seems either she doesn’t want for Gunther to “stoop to Les’ level”, or she isn’t too keen on “being divviyed up”… either way, is Crystal’s plan coming back to “burn her in the biscuits”?… – Rosa must’ve had a bad experience with soda, since she doesn’t seem to care for "jerks"… – Seems Les was either “wising up” to the whole “camera” thing, or he figures he’d “kill two birds with one stone”… or should we say fist, as in he’s seemingly receptive to an “open-faced Knuckle Sandwich”?….

In all seriousness, it’s not that she’s being fickle… she probably just thinks that either Gunther doesn’t have to prove anything to Leslie, or she liked that he was “in the middle” and is now swinging to what she considers the other extreme… the asking her out because it’s turning into a competition, and not because it’s an intimate, sincere, private moment…

Les has apparently decided he can get other people in trouble by getting them to hit HIM in front of the imaginary “video cameras”.

Rosa is supposed to care for Gunther. He is trying his best to stand up to Les who is being rude and crude. I would think that Rosa would make it clear to Les that her choice is Gunther. I think she is showing her own immaturity and lack of support for Gunther.

Leslie goes running to the principle crying “Gunther hit me”Expecting them to have it all on video.

The Idea of Gunther hitting Leslie is so outragious, he’s laughed right out of the office, probably getting busted for falsifying a complaint against another student AND getting busted again for being back on school property during a suspension.

In the whole outrageousness of the very idea of Gunther hitting Leslie, the whole point of the fictitious cameras are missed by one and all and Leslie goes right on believing there are cameras.

Uh Ohhhh. I hope this isn’t where Knute gets thrown under the bus! ‘Cause I’m pretty sure Les is about to find out there ain’t no cameras…. Of course, that might backfire on Gunth a little if he tells him the truth. Gunther is in a rather precarious predicament here. Hope he plays it right.

This whole story line hinges on Leslie Knox’s having told Principal Hightower about an allegedly videotaped incident, and the principal’s having said nothing in reply to the effect that the claimed cameras don’t exist. Since that makes no sense, nothing that Leslie’s doing now now makes sense either. Rosa’s reaction today is the first thing in the whole story that has made sense.

Now, Gunth! Give this jerk his come-uppance!

This is Rosa’s fault. She’s the one who pushed and pushed Gunther to leave his “Nerdville” comfort zone and when he finally acquiesces to her demand (with all the grace of a one-legged ostrich) she backs away to watch the fireworks. Sounds like she might be getting off on the two-manboy firework brigade…..

Rosa is handling this very well.

Will Gunther believe that there are cameras and get smashed, or will it be vice versa?

This might get Leslie out of that math test.

This might make Gunther fail that math test if he gets suspended. Since suspension is an unexcused absence, Gunther can’t make up the test he missed, so he will get a big, fat zero to be averaged with the scores of the tests he did take. At least that is how it worked when I was in school.

Yes, girls can go to the prom alone or in a group. As for single girls not being allowed at the prom, that rule should be eliminated if any schools still use it.

A lady who would be about 86 years old now told me that single girls weren’t allowed to go to any dances when she was a school girl. Single boys could because they could take cuts. That doesn’t make a bit of sense nowadays.

-contact the moderator -I don’t know if this always works, but I ended up contacting the moderator when I used the ‘contact us’ feature under ‘Help’ at the bottom of the webpage. I was asking about why a poster had been banned, and the response came back signed as from the moderator.

Rosa is well to walk away from this unseemly confrontation between the smug bully, Les Knox, and the anger-clouded neurotic, Gunther Berger. Les expects to take an ineffectual shot from Gunny, for the (non-existent) cameras, and get him into trouble. Or beat him up. From Les’s perspective, a win either way,, and clearing his way to Rosa….

As I said two days ago, Les is picking a fight. The joke will be that Hightower thought of Les’s apology and actually DID install cameras.*And unlike the country song, a first-time fighter is not going to have enough punch to take down the bullies. Good fighting takes practice. Sorry, G-man, you’re about to blow it. And it will be on camera. And you will get in trouble. And Rosa will defend you.

Oh yeah, then Rosa will beat Les up herself!

It’s somewhat creative to have a Knute & Crystal situation merge into a Gunther & Rosa plotline, but now the thing is just going on and on— I am eagerly awaiting new developments with Quill & Luann, as well as Brad & Toni. This whole high school scenario is getting a bit stale, so it will be enjoyable to see the new lives of the characters who will be attending college. First, of course, we have to plow through the drama and intrigue surrounding the rituals of Prom Night and Graduation day!
