Seems to me that most of the carrying gunnies I know have looks and other mannerisms that intimidate more than aim for social harmony.
I absolutely know that if i were assaulted a civic-minded gun owner would step in and save me. (fingers crossed behind back)Most of the ones I’ve met aren’t very tough at all. I’ve tried a couple. They couldn’t fight. Deskbound computer jockeys should have some experience for social approval for gun carry…in my opinion. Yeah, I know: I read the Constitution quite bit, always have. We don’t agree. If you’re a foofy doofus I don’t think you should drive a car, have access to alcohol, nor be allowed to carry. You dilute the brand.
Most of the gunnies I know are a disgrace to guns and the men who know what they are for.

tigre1again – I’ve had a carry permit for many, many years. I have two pistols and two rifles. I learned how to shoot the in the Marine Corps. Spent a year in Vietnam ‘66-’67. Do you think I fit your requirements?
