When I bake a cake, I follow a recipe, not use a box mix. There’s something about baking a cake from scratch that even makes clean-up worthwhile.

ummm. Chocolate angel food cake…My mother’s secret recipe that she gave to my best friend before she gave it to any of us. That was okay because we all knew that my BFF would actually make it, and it would be as good as mom’s. She does, and it is. She made me one for my birthday today. (Mon. 14th.)
