Wow, Greg goes around sticking his name and date on all the cubicles and name plates in the office… – A lot of talk of “In-Dependents” on “Thanks-Forgetting” day…. – Some people wear the same clothes on their mind for quite a while. And it ends up taking a long time to change….

Poor Gunther, like a turtle pulling his head into his shell. 1st. panel: is Gunther looking at Rosa’s hand on his arm, or just looking sad? Also, same panel, the word “me” should be in bold type, not Peru. Is this shy little boy-hot girl storyline going to continue for another year, or are we going to finally see some action? This is like watching sail boats race – no noticeable movement.

And he thought he had problems before…

If Rosa could do anything for Gunther – I’d declare it a national holiday…

Mrs. Robinson, you’re going to have to seduce this guy, so move your hand.

growing pains

Rosa ether has the patience of Job or is the dumbest broad in Peru! I think Gunther will come thru this just fine…Once he gets a fresh perspective on things.

To be fair. Silicon Valley is full of ‘Gunthers.’ Bill Gates himself is a ‘Gunther.’ Melinda Gates doesn’t seem to mind.

Indeed, with such an example as that, Rosa is wise to hold on…knowing on the other side of this journey is, well, Bill Gates. He’s already clearly a prodigy with computers, given people twice his age with twice his experience are asking him for help and advice.

Reminder to the ladies: Never forget how big a programmer’s salary really is.

Gunther has a touch of Peter Pan-ism, but given time he should adjust to the New Realities. Rosa is so good with him, gently urging him along step by step!

Apparently Gunther wants to remain a little boy by his mommys side.

Who needs enemies.

I understand Gunther. He sees it as loosing part of his family. After my parents died I commented to my wife I had no family left. She looked at me and said I had her and the kids. Later after her parents died, she said she then understood.

Gunther needs to see a shrink.

Oh Gunth grow up and grow a pair. You’re an adult now and getting real world experience even if that’s all that comes out of this. And lets face it, mom needs some loving too, not just from her mamaluke of a son.

Rosa is not Gunther’s type. He needs a girl just like his mom to turn him on.

Does anyone else wonder what Rosa sees in Gunther? Someone like her would have kicked him to the curb a long time ago in the real world.

Rosa’s attraction to Gunther is just a plot contrivance to make the G-man be less of a dweeb and more nearly an assertive and confident guy, who will therefore be “worthy” of marrying Luann some years down the road.

In a couple of weeks when Gunther calls home on Skype, he will see his Mom serving a plate of cookies and milk to Mr. Gray. He will then take the next flight from Lima to LAX, whining and crying all the way.

Happy Thanksgiving. Rosa needs to “thank” Gunther in a way he’ll be “thankful” for! She started out right with “You came to Peru with me”.

lot of upscale Latin-America and Europe people make a point to learn English along with lot of Chinese as a second language, so much so that it helps make the number of people who know English as a “non-primary language” actually bigger in number than all 1st language speakers of every language except Chinese
