Actually, no, I haven’t noticed that. What I see is more along the lines of established religions digging in their heels and sticking to dogma even when a majority of their members have abandoned it. See, for instance “Catholic Church & Birth Control” (something over 50% of American Catholic women use it, even though the church’s dogma prohibits it).
