Its really good to see these Brad and Toni strips…I was hoping that Greg hadn’t forgotten them. Really hoping the Gunther story ends soon so we can move on

I sure hope not… I think Greg simply just didn’t have anything for her to say that would add value to the strip. This strip is about “Bwad” and Shannon.

That said, someone mentioned Brad’s ring. It is curious that Toni has her arms folded, shielding her’s… (assuming she’s wearing it).

Some guys marry single moms. Brad is marrying a single Aunt, but still gets the pleasure of raising another man’s child. Talk about a thirsty dude.

1. Since Brad and Shannon have reached a place where they can go beyond tolerating each others’ company, I’ve had a feeling Brad and Toni will have an instant family very soon. The question is – what’s going to happen to Shannon’s dad? 2. What’s with Brad’s ring? 3. Toni doesn’t have cold feet – this strip was about Brad coming to realize that Shannon is going to mean a great deal to him in the future, not that she hasn’t wormed her way into his heart already.

Well, you know how those “temporal puzzles” work on all the series. Probably was several people from several series all in the same vicinity and didn’t know it… yet… I suppose they just missed Archer thwarting that last Xindi probe….

I don’t do “cute”. Toni and Brad (and that really annoying Shannon) are going to evolve into Hi and Lois, or Family Circus, or some other dull reflection of family life in America. Gunther and Rosa almost reached “adventure” status but pooped out. Knute and Crystal have the potential for some interesting, off beat things, but are on a pretty short leash with Greg. Where is the action and adventure in today’s comic strips? Even Snoopy had better adventures in his own mind.

Agreed. I dunno why there are so many that are so negative on the Brad/Toni ship. It seems to me that Greg is positioning them to be quite successful, and Brad an excellent father.

“It’s ominous that they haven’t …”.Everything is ominous to those who see omens everywhere..The comfort they exhibit while holding and touching is very sweet. The tolerance Brad shows toward his personal physician is super-sweet..This is a wonderful strip and Evans is a great contributor to the comics world.Oh, if only so many weren’t so blind to his greatness.

As usual, your roses amaze me! Luann’s parents don’t appear to like roses, or perhaps don’t like the time it takes to grow them properly. 90 rosebushes! And, Puddles, please don’t get any ideas!!! ;)

Not only that, but in all actuality, looks as if it’s just a dishtowel and rag set that he is letting her use as the wraps and such….
