That’s not the “Scared Straight” I remember watching!

Not working too well. No visitors. Everybody there is an employee or relative.

My police friends hate it that parent try and scare their kids with the police. There’s enough bad things happening without parents throwing gas on the fire.

Before “Judge Hatchett” and some of those other “TV Judges” started “getting a kick out of” sending some wayward teen to a prison facility to hopefully let them know that jail is no place to be, there was the original “Scared Straight”. I remember when they had to show it on late night TV on Saturdays… and those inmates were not joking when they gave those kids a…“preview”…of prison life… along with a bit of “salty tongue” (i.e. they had to bleep some of the episodes). But I tell you what.. it seemed to work on us kids, back then!!!

Sorry mom will not work. Watch on cable real COPS and jail time.When I worked at treatment not locked down for teenage boys, I would get lots of phone calls from parents wanting help for their children to teenagers going bad. First place Starting Point where lockup for teens start. Now that treatment place is closed. The director wants parents to be responsible for their own child. Called budget cuts.

Having fun not educating children on breaking the law.
