The Shawshank Redemption starring Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman (1994)..This scene: Andy receives a library donation that includes a recording of The Marriage of Figaro. He plays an excerpt over the public address system, resulting in his receiving solitary confinement.

Only until the world is broken. All worlds are like egg shells. You have to exceed their limits and break out of them eventually. Some are fragile calcium constructs. Some are leathery. Some are merely thin membranes to hold fluids and you remain connected to the outside world until you leave it, rather than having a complete world within itself. Some are little jelly things where many share a common experience, all breaking out at nearly the same time.Life is a metaphor for life.

To change it up you could switch over to Mr. Rogers and his “Wonderful Day in the Neighborhood.” His message is very solid and not quite as cloying/annoying as the felt dinosaur’s.

I can’t tell you how many times during the week I walk through the room with the radio that plays the local classical station and heard “The Marriage of Figaro” sawing on.It’s gotten to be like “Stairway To Heaven” popping up on a classic rock station.

I can’t wait to see the dirt she’s got on the warden… probably something about his cruelty to bunny rabbits.

Actually, KJM, Teresa HAS done “powerfully provocative” cartoons before; the one repeated on January Twenty-Fifth for example. As to “funny”; well, that is in the mind of the beholder. And those of us who come to Frog Applause DO get the “joke”.
