Tiffany: "Why would you pick teaching over acting? Over New York?!" Luann: "I like working with kids" Tiffany: "I guess someone as to. I'm just glad I'm in the front office and not dealing with THIS mess. Yuk." Principal: "Tiffany, one of the pages is backwards. Unstaple them all, turn the page and restaple them" Luann: "Yuk"

I bet Tiffany is thinking if she could switch jobs with Luann.

I love Luann very much!!!!!!!

That’s what you get for not doing it right the first time…my Mom would make me do that with other stuff too. I’m too much of a perfectionist now

Lots of ‘yuks’ for Tiffany today…

We should get more shots of Luann reaching up to reshelve books. Am I right?
DaJellyBelly over 9 years ago
In reality the school would return them to the vendor for correct copies or a refund.

Tiff, find a private office, call Gunther, close the door when he gets there, and go to it. (fixing the book, that is).
Kymberleigh over 9 years ago
I count at least 1500 books there … maybe more below the panel line. With Tiff’s enthusiasm, she’ll be done by September.

Bet luann will be dragged into helping tiff when she starts struggling to finish it

If only one page is backward, why does Tiffany have to unstaple every booklet?

ACK!
Luann is placing those books on to THIN AIR in Panel One and NOBODY Here Is Wondering How the Heck they’re STAYING UP!

Licking 3,000 things is probably an easy day for Tiffany!

Years ago I was working for a social agency, with people with disabilities. They gave us all the Myers Briggs personality test and redefined our jobs based on the results. I got to play with the clients all day and some other poor shmuck got all my paperwork. It was great!

The 2000 booklets can be fixed by an attentive person in about 4 hours of work, including a lunch break. Tiffany is capable of doing that. After all she has done the same with her photos. A slacker will probably do it in 12. Whatever Tiffany is, she is not a slacker. She will complain and get bored out of her mind, but she will do it.
Also, this is the reason why they are not being sent back to the printer. It is faster to have somebody fix them than to send them back and wait for their return.

How many paper cuts will Tiffany get?

Feel the burn, Tiffany.

She’ll do what she can to get out of it, I just know it.

“It’ll be fine. They can just turn it upside down to read that page. Problem solved.”
Lamberger over 9 years ago
Print up 2000 errata labels saying, “Page xxx is upside down”, then stick them inside the front or back blank page.

Although, honestly, if you don’t like kids, sitting in an air conditioned office listening to music on your phone and chatting with adult co-workers while mindlessly flipping papers is WAY more fun than crawling around with screaming four-year olds throwing up on you and pulling your hair. I do office work, my best friend is a pre-school teacher. I would not trade jobs for a 100% raise.

Tiffany gets paid by the hour for doing paperwork. What difference does it make what kind of paperwork it is?

Luann was not going to be acting in NY, only tagging along with Quill. Why would Tiff think Luann would be acting?
nanellen over 9 years ago
Tiff would think that because she doesn’t pay attention to anything but herself. Realistic for so many!
jenbrown1017 over 9 years ago
Would never happen….they would send it back to the printer for a mistake like that!
David Huie Green LoveJoyAndPeace over 9 years ago
Tiffany will rise to the challenge.
I also love those who think Tiffany should not do her assigned tasks unless everyone else is faultless.Bless you.

No argument about the insane warehouse story. But I disagree about Tiffany quitting. The job is giving her some cash and resume material, she doesn’t have to deal with the kids (or Luann, much) now that she’s in the office, she was excited to be moved to an administrative position anyway, and she’s a hard-working, ambitious young lady who will (if her enthusiasm about her entry level acting & modeling jobs is any history) probably do her best at this dull task and make it into something valuable for her future career. Can’t help it if the Evans clan thinks she’s a punchline for these things – I admire her spirit. So, I don’t think it’s implausible that she doesn’t quit.

Lemme see. Each box contains 500 handbooks. There appars to be at least 5 boxes, That’s how many staple-pricks?
ACTIVIST1234 over 9 years ago
And this job will NOT have a good outcome for her finely manicured nails.
ACTIVIST1234 over 9 years ago
“She SHOULD be at college doing something with the acting school. We’ve spent years and years hearing about how Tiffany loves acting, she takes this job because of acting, and now that’s she in a position to work as an actor after school…nothing…. It’s horrible, HORRIBLE writing”*Imp – Tiff has shown time & again that she is a real trooper— if it conceivably might benefit her career, she’ll do it, no matter how minor, how humiliating, how tedious.*I’ve done tedious work, and if you’re over-stimulated by classes & philosophical discussions, tedium is R&R..

I am more worried about Tiff’s bad case of strabismus (lazy eye).

I agree with Luann.

Gee, this sounds familiar. You wouldn’t happen to have once been called RB2, would you? Nah….
doverdan over 9 years ago
The point is to show that Tiff’s job is just as a paper-pusher, doing really dull stuff.

Me thinkith the lady doth protest too much…yes your 18, an adult at last, or at least legal, the first chance you have to get away with your boyfriend, and it’s ten days in New York City to boot, and you want to stay home with a bunch of snot nosed kids ? here’s a new’s flash for Luann, there will ALWAYS be snot nosed kids, but only one chance to have the experience you just blew off. I know your only a cartoon character, but I feel sorry for you

Speaking of eyes, Luann’s eyes bugging out all last week was really starting to get on my nerves. Was anyone else bothered by this, or was it just me? I’m so relieved to see her eyes back to normal this week.

I would also agree based on that word, and the concept behind the word, based on their opening sentences, and overall speech. As “implausible” as it might seem….
Argythree over 9 years ago
SPOILER ALERT
Tiffany decides to continue with the “yuk” factor (just to drive Luann crazy). Implausible though it may sound, there will be those who will defend her speech…
