I preferred being a nerd when I was in school. I found out most girls really preferred nerds to jocks! Maybe they felt safer?

One thing I like about this strip is that Katy’s ideas and opinions always seem right for a girl her age, although sometimes her vocabulary is a tad “advanced.” Today, though she’s expressing herself exactly like I’d expect from a first-grader.
