I thought it was “He who has the gold makes the rules.”

That’s a beautiful,sentiment, Rat.

“Do unto others, before they do worse unto us.” for all us cynics.

Then there is the government, doing on to us because they can and we have no real recourse. They break it and then say oops sorry we can fix it, need more money, things get worse and we get poorer. Just saying.

I guess it’s useful to have “Rat morality” on record, just in case one is ever called upon to testify in the criminal trial….
