This current election cycle looks more like Battle of the Network Stooges.

With the likes of The Big Bang Theory and the terrible new version of The Odd Couple, I could agree with Pig about CBS. However, they’re almost redeemed by Elementary.

It’s kinda a good idea. Different beliefs means conflicts, many of them violent.

If it were to occur, there would be some that would we should welcome them without question. And call everybody else ugly names for thinking otherwise.

I watch most shows on CBS. “The Amazing Race”, " The Big Bang Theory", “Mom”, “2 Broke Girls” “Mike & Molly”, (which ended a month ago) “Undercover Boss”

LOL!!! Nice twist – and then transfer the divisiveness to us against the aliens, just like he hated CBS!

It wouldn’t happen, nice fantasy but nothing will get people together. Thousands are shot each year in this country but they can’t get together on gun control. Aliens would win.

I remember when the networks used to run “Battle of the Network Stars” as well as “Circus of the Stars” every year. I also remember Saturday Night Live parodied this by running a promo for a show called “Network Battle of the T’s and A’s”.

Man kind will always have different beliefs, they will never work together. Best way to get along is to let everyone do their own thing, don’t try to force your will on others. Not like how Republicans and Democrats are trying to force their wills on others.

And Pig, who’s to say Rat wouldn’t help the aliens with a promise of being a king over an area when done?

I suppose worse things could happen to the strip than for it to become Watchmen, but I just can’t see Pig as Ozymandias.

Since my recent spinal surgery, I’ve come to realize the ‘Clockwork Orange’ effect of having to watch over 200 channels of dreck on Satellite TV and their newly discovered/promoted ‘effects’ at every dramatic turn, especially on the History/Science/Animal Planet consortium, where a boom and swoosh and thump and bang has to emphasize every turn of event. My greatest option? Fiber-optics which provides the same dam programming, only with ‘extras’ with slam-bang ‘movies’ that are designed to thrill me to the core. At 80, my core has been thrilled long ago. And now, to enter the ‘Bah, Humbug’ era….

Am I the only one grumpy enough to complain about the periods on “C.B.S.” and “N.B.C.”?
