    .

Does the wedding take place on the 11th, or is that the day that the contest-winning dress makes its debut?

Yesterday Brad said that the wedding would be beautiful and elegant………today its crazy and trivial. I think that these two are about ready to fall asleep from exhaustion, and the wedding bells will be their snooze alarm. And, please Mr. artist/author , no bad stuff now.

Brad made a classic male blunder implying to the bride that her wedding was trivial. But then Toni is not your stereotypical bride … apparently. This forest fire distraction just hasn’t seemed to have the right “feel” to it. Very confusing.

To some commenters: Simply NO drama to be found here Brad expresses a good sentiment, and Toni makes a light-hearted riposte.

I find it interesting that none of the strips actually showed them “fighting” the fire. Just talking on the phone.

It sure would have been nice if we could have seen the “tough” “worthwhile” and “important” work Toni and Brad were supposedly doing, instead of watching Luann sloppily hotglue centerpieces together.

nice that it’s turned into a further bonding experience for the two of them. ( That’s “bonding”, not “bondage” ! Sheesh, get your minds out of the gutter !!! )

Cake is good…. do not get me wrong…. but usually wedding cakes are a little on the bland side…. stiff and less flavorful so that usually they can be good building material.

    .

Give me a home made birthday cake any day! And, I will unfortunately want to eat the whole damn thing! But, I try my hardest to always resist the temptation to overindulge…. and sometimes I succeed.

man there are a lot really over the top reactions to the fire fighter who jokes around. You would think he was throwing the f bomb around and commenting on specific body parts or activities. Just some slight innuendo and some people are ready to have him excommunicated.

This is time extension, leading up to the wedding itself. Some call it boring, I call it couple talk. Couples together, and the kinds of things couples say to each other. Always interesting to couples, not necessarily to anyone not part of the couple. But….patience is called for, and I agree nothing really bad has happened, lets keep it that way Greg!!!

Oh, an interestingly enough…. I used “nonplussed” to mean “not phased at all” or “uninterested”. I only found out about a year ago that “nonplussed” actually has two vastly different meanings:

    .

“nonplussed” – unperturbed, uninterested (the meaning I am used to the word having)

    .

“nonplussed” – surprised or confused (a meaning I was unfamiliar with, but which may actually be the more common usage)

Standing between those two right now and food – not a good idea. Kind of like standing in the hallway at my office right after I send out an email that fresh-ground coffee just finished brewing. Full kudos to the men and women out there who freely put themselves on the line for others like these two do!

Nice conversation between two people who probably feel like they’re already married. That’s the way we felt, but we were wrong…….it takes time. Strangely enough, Tiffany and Gunther have some good, one on one conversations, not like the snarky talks Luann has with Bernice, or the sparring she had with Quill. Thumbs up for good dialog. Hope the vows also meaningful and in good taste.
