Windy night, Huh, Joe?
never seen it like this!
Dude I was dragging our christmas tree to the curb -
and the wind snatched it right from my grasp!
Found it, your tree its gong viral!
Blizzard. The best thing to do is go inside, wait until its over, then shovel yourself out.Went thru many blizzards in the 80s and 90s. Lived 35 miles from work, never missed a day. One day, boss had to X country ski into work, he lived 8 miles from work. 2 guys lived 2 city blocks from work, both called in saying unable to make it, Boss said, I made it from 35 miles away, from the South and another guy who lived 50 miles away to the North also made it in. We were among the very few who made it into work those days. I drove a Plymouth Horizon, my friend drove a Ford Diesel 4 door small car.
The Plymouth Horizon my mother once drove had a low undercarriage; I remember how noisy it was driving it one evening on our country roads. Sounds like your friend also drove a vehicle that didn’t sit high off the ground, nor have 4-wheel drive. Very different from the vehicles of most of my former neighbors in the countryside; theirs could pull sedans up semi-icy, 20-degree hills on dirt roads. As long as your Chrysler and your friend’s Ford didn’t get undercarriage damage from driving through the snow.
