Just had a lovely Christmas Eve nap by the tree, with the manger, all my wife’s angels and Nutcrackers surrounding the room, and our handsome African-American Santa. Wish I could send you a picture. I am totally relaxed and ready for a joyful Christmas with our two adult kids at home for the holiday.

Merry Christmas/Happy Hanukkah to all my friends here today. I have been ill since November 20th and the doctors here have no clue. Meanwhile, the struggle continue. At my age, I have to wonder…

To Graham and all of his Crackers, including the furry 4 legged ones: I hope everyone has a peaceful and safe holiday.

We’re over in Oceanside / Camp Pendleton for the week. This where I grew up. It’s not that I want to “go home again” but I did want to see it and old friends before more time passed.

A nice storm blew in and out yesterday afternoon and last night; we have a great ocean view and I loved watching the whitecaps. I really do miss that.

Today, it’s calm, clear and gorgeous.
