Bernice let Piro go think you should stop being overfantizizing about piro

Seems like Tiff has become the more reasonable character, lately. Gunther’s influence? Is she developing feelings for Gunther? Will Gunther discover that for some reason he feels jealous when he learns about Piro? Will Greg, for once, cut to the chase and let the passion ignite between Tiff and the G-man?

Careful, Tiff. Bern looks as though She’s about to Rip Out Great CLUMPS of Your Hair….,

Tiffany has been developing empathy since the incident with Gunther last year sometime, or even in 2015, someone could date it, where she got all wet and muddy and Gunther helped her get back to her room, and was comforting to her. She turns out to have a heart, and the scenario, if its true, that she did this for altruistic reasons makes sense. Of course Bernice is besotted with Piro, so she is surprised and shocked when Tiffany, of all people, has this kind of access to him. It’s interesting though that he has a phone, athough as some have pointed out and I agree, more and more homeless are trying to get phones… It gives them connection to the current world which can help them keep in touch and maybe get off the street. In his case the phone is far more than that I think. We already know he had a phone, if it was him, because Tiffany gave him the high sign when the campus cop and the dorm manager were coming to the room. So its plausible TIffany’s story, but there are quite a few possible angles yet to come.

stay tuned, this story will be figured out soon. Bernice is going to like Tiff lot more now. Piro will run and they won’t notice since the are busy bickering. and someone else took the t.v.

And nobody noticed Piro coming in and out when he shouldn’t have been able to get into the building? Who was the RA at the time? Bernice isn’t the only one they have, is she?

I let a girl stay in my place over Christmas break at Auburn back in 1976-77. Tiffany and I are just generous people. (Yes, I was gone then. It would’ve been crowded otherwise.)

I searched her name a year or so back, found she died some 15 years ago.

Wow… Having also done the same, Bern’s probably horrified that Tiffany is now on “equal footing”, having duplicated Bern’s gesture,  which Bern now realizes will effectively render own “Piro Points” ‘useless’… Not that Piro even probably counts them,  anyway…

And the crazy thing is, they both sought to do what they thought would be a “good deed”, but each borne from bad ideas…  Just a matter of time,  and tick… tick… -

And,  too, if Tiffany ever finds out Bernie ’took the “Hypocritical Oath” ’?…

@BRICKFLAG: Piro’s status re school is somewhat murky.

Bern has forgotten about the TV. The fact that Tiff has had Piro living in her room instead of her own is her only concern. Tiff used to be Luann’s problem. Now Bern’s.

@JPUZZLEWHIZ: Right before Bernice started her inspection of the common room (and discovered that the TV was missing), she ran into Dez and welcomed Dez back from a recent trip to a country where Dez was doing some kind of meditation. So I don’t think that Dez could have been an RA in Bernice’s absence. And I think if Dez was also an RA, it would have been mentioned before this.

@CHUCK374: Tiffany is only a problem for Bernice because Bernice is manufacturing reasons to pick fights with Tiffany. That’s a lot different from when Tiffany and Luann were rivals over the same boys.

Meanwhile where is the bum they are fighting about?

Seems like Bern’s shirt color is appropriate to her emotion.

I wonder how many other story lines are unfinished at this time. There is the one with Les and his plan concerning Pru and the jewelry, the one about Les and having to pay money for some legal reason . . . I can’t recall what Gunther was doing last, or if Luann or Brad or Toni have any drama going on. TJ, Crystal, Knute and Ox all seem fine. The DeGroot parents and Puddles don’t have any drama going on. If the Evans let a story drag on too long without finishing it, I tend to forget about it.

Talk about dense……

@LOCAKE: The unfinished stories are kind of like real life that way, though. I like the idea of continuing, evolving situations. There’s always possibility. Once a story is finished, it seems like we never see the character again (like what happened with Rosa).

Bernice stated that she was obsessed with Piro and didn’t know why (she was talking at the Fuse with Lu, just before they met the Dover Boys 11-2-16); add Tiffany to this equation and realize that one of her main functions in this comic is to inspire jealousy, then you can see why Bern is struggling with all this. I hope Dez is standing by with a butterfly net in case Bernice storms off to turn Tiff in.

Pro has a phone? Our govt has been giving, over the years, free cheap phone for poor people to use.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch ……

Is Bernice finally realizing that she’s totally outclassed in her man-pursuit skills?

@SCHRODINGER’S DOG: Bernice is an obsessive type of person, who becomes totally absorbed in whatever idea she’s gotten hold of. Sometimes it’s a way of life (as in being a by-the-book Resident Assistant, even though she doesn’t live those rules herself). Sometimes it’s obsessing over getting to a job interview even though she’s locked herself out of her car, run out of gas, or what. And sometimes it’s a guy. I honestly don’t think that she differentiates among her obsessions; to her, it’s just about achieving whatever goal she has fixated on. So I don’t think she sees her obsession with Piro as so much ‘pursuing a man’ as ‘pursuing success’ (whatever she has currently decided ‘success’ is) …

Bernice will make a terrible psychologist. She is too hasty in her opinions of others situations. I have no idea what type of career she would be better in, however.

Didn’t we see a similar situation developing between Tiff, Luann, and one Mr. Aaron Hill half a life time ago?

If Piro is homeless, how did he get a cellphone? Through Tiffany?

Watch it Bernice…Piro is probably hiding in the bedroom closet and can hear you.

Presumably Piro left when he got Tiffany’s warning. Humorous if he was seen lugging a large screen TV.

But, then, neither does much anything else in this story arc. Bernie seems to be doing a “face-turn” and is becoming a “heel” as they say in pro wrestling….

When is Bernice going to recognize that she’s out-matched and just give up?
