The trouble with falling down a bottomless well of infinite depth is that you occasionally wake up and notice that you are falling. I would usually scream for a while and eventually fall back to sleep. At least, that’s what my mom always said I did. I don’t remember now, but I don’t suppose I’ve changed all that much.

…hmmm…that didn’t totally work…

sigh I know what you mean Teresa. In the meantime, “onbaard”? Blame GoComics and their automatically making the comic so large. I’ve been noticing things.

Thank god for cheap booze.

I’ve noticed an unsettling/interesting kink in the GoComics format that may explain why the number of comments seems wane at times:

Apparently, if you’re not signed in, your (previous) comments will not appear.If you’ve cleared your cookies, then come back to the Comments section, your previous postings are not there. But sign-in and they appear.

I assume that nobody keeps FA as an open tab all the time, so does this mean that GoComics has set some kind of persistent cookie that keeps you logged in even when you’re not on the site, but clear the cookie, and what…?

I don’t have the resources to, say, sign-in on one PC while monitoring from another.

Can someone else try that and report back?

Teresa, I feel the same way about the “new” GoComics.

I would not describe it as a “user-friendly” or “improved” format.

I can only imagine what fresh-hell they’ve whipped up for the Creators.

One thing that will not change is my devotion to St. Teresa of Perpetual Lameness.
