Something tells me Luann buys pre-made mud masks. I, as a guy, buy some once in a while if I want my pores cleared.

Could’ve been worse.

Hurry, flush all the toxins, intended for skin, outta body….with what? All the money spent on this beauty products that are only temporary skin revival. When I was young and vain< i justified buying them in name of beauty but now? Never. Waste of money. I am at this age where those product won’t make any difference in how my skin looks …perhaps pinkish due to given a good scrub which fades within minutes. Nancy is at that age…I suppose she still has vain hope that those products will prolong her youthful appearance even if they wash out quickly through sweat, oil, and evaporation. Women tend to be fearful that losing their youthful appearance will led their husbands to stray. Skincare companies count on that.

She’d never have gotten a job with Thomas Edison (I know, very hard to imagine.)When he invited prospective employees to eat with him, he always observed whether they tasted before they added salt. If they added salt first, they were not hired. I read this a few decades back. Not sure if it is really true, but it seems extreme even for Edison. I could see it counting against you, but not as a strike-out. But then, I am not Edison.

It looks like Luann is about to transform into some kind of monster, judging from her appearance.

Couldn’t she smell it?

Depending on the actual ingredients in the mask, it might be safer than the raw cookie batter… assuming that there is raw egg in the cookie batter. A typical mask recipe consists of vegetable oil, wine, oat flour, and kaolin. In fact, given that kaolin is usually the main ingredient, swallowing a good dose of the mask might relieve minor problems caused by a slightly contaminated egg.

What will the new arc be? Luann’s foot? Tiffany’s new hair? Piro’s secrets? More Shannon?

So… we only get to see the comic strip’s titular character on Sundays. Got it.

Last panel. Nancy looks like the girl who turned me down for a Friday night dance at the high school. Luann looks like the girl who did accept my invitation, but her father, Igor, wouldn’t let me in their castle.

Nancy had plenty of time to pull the bowl away before Luann stuck her finger it it, then into her mouth. I thought Nancy was nicer than this.

IF THERE IS ANY JUSTICE IN THIS WORLD, THERE WILL BE NO SHANNON IN TOMORROW’S STRIP!!!!!

The best justice is the one I like and most others. Shannon forever!!!!

Perhaps some overlapping story arcs?

Ain’t nothing in this transient world better than vanilla butter frosting! It may not be all that good for you, but it’s the tastiest way to go!

On the other hand, there are no doubt things far worse than herbal mud mask, but not many that Nancy would be likely to be mixing in her kitchen (I postulate that Nancy is not a witch)!

I thought we mammals evolved a sense of smell that would be deployed before ingesting a mouthful of a strange grey looking paste. And can’t Luann read or notice the bottles? If it were ccokie dough there would be a sack of flour, eggs, milk, baking soda etc. Such an unlikely episode… I sense desperation on Greg and Karen’s part.

Y’know, it’s possible that Luann swooped into the kitchen and scooped up the batter without asking about it, whisking it into her mouth before Nancy could stop her.

I liked the leftover chocolate frosting.

Foible of the week strip, and quite funny. Liked the color in the GCComics website here, and in the Sunday paper. It would not totally work in the regular black and white paper, unless the print paper does it’s toons in color during the week.

I think the cook should get first dibs on cookie batter and all chocolate desserts
