BURT!! Realizes there’s a carrier, squints AND MOUSE!! Hiya, you two! And nice to officially meet two of their People! I wonder if this was chosen for the rebroadcast for any special reason, hmm, Mr. AV? ;)
So glad to see our friends showing up! Burt & Baba have people who care for them. We’re all on the lookout for Tommy. Everything is going to be OK. Love how Georgia’s plans come together! Hugs & purrs to everyone!
So many wonderful things in this strip! The “dust bunnies” that are alive, the mouse with too many legs, the melted dog, the exploded rabbit (“I beg your pardon?” That bunny almost has cattitude!)… And the beyond wonderful Easter Eggs of Baba Mouse, Burt and Tommy’s missing cat flyer!Sundays are my favorite day because of the longer strips. They remind me of the long strips back in the beginning! Thank you Georgia for this wonderful, beautiful world that you have created and share with us!
Haha!! Georgia has outdone herself! I adore Lupin’s observations of why each animal is there (or what he believes each animal is and what it is there for). My favs are the rabbit that apparently exploded and poor Elvis who has the “bite a lots.” Mr. Iguana looks pretty cool in his shades! I wonder how he’ll respond to Elvis’ pointed question.
I caught Tommy’s poster but missed Baba. Thought that was Burt but if it was Burt the boys would be hanging with him, but then remembered they haven’t met yet. i’m easily confused!
BCN is a treasure. We are all so fortunate that Georgia has created it. I’ve been a comics fan for something like 68 years (since I was old enough to read), and have loved many comics in that time, but I don’t think I ever had a comic I loved so much. Perhaps because never before has a comic given me so much.
Easter eggs? Am I blind or stupid? Would someone in the know please explain if that’s a term for something or if I’m missing the real things. Please help a feeble-minded old cat lady!
Easter eggs are hidden little objects that programmers used to add to software back in my Mac days. Some still do. lt was fun trying to find them. MacAddict magazine used to point them out. Now it has a broader connotation that means little hidden details.
Exploded Bunny – Angora Rabbit. And yes, house rabbits have attitudes. Check out Disapproving Rabbits sometime. They are very similar to cats. (I have had 3 and they were a pip!) The hamsters cracked me up. lol
You’ve outdone yourself yet again, Georgia! I love the leashes, matching their ties no less. I’ve just been showing the hoovering saga and the vet trip saga to a friend who was over for dinner. There was much cackling.
Just noticed this on Georgia’s Facebook “Some folks have noticed the little heart in the signature on today’s Sunday strip—today is our wedding anniversary! ❤️ Six years ago we got married on the beach beside Santa Monica’s pier”Happy Anniversary!!!

She-who-is-demanding-that-we-chase-her goes to a cat specialist. She sometimes meets other cats, but nothing else.
Of course, in the garden she can meet skinks and geckos, and, once, a stumpy tail, as well as birds and things with too many legs.

snicker snicker, Elvis has the bite-a-lots – nice one Lupin. I love all the extra details in the background too :)

A tarantula is a mouse with too many legs! A parrot is a bird that flew through a rainbow! I love these definitions!

I get the “Iguana Taxi” joke. Might I improve it by suggesting that her name is Tia? Then it would be a “Tia Iguana Taxi”.

Thanks for all the observations folks. I thought the cats with the lady and the little girl looked familiar! Some of you have Ph. D’s in BCN:)
