Somebody called this scenario yesterday after the Fuse arc fizzled. They said (sic), “I am looking forward to tomorrow in Luann’s bedroom with Puddles”. Yep. I guess a new arc begins tomorrow?
Ha ha ha! This is totally “Harry Nilsson-like”! Reminiscent of his album, “The Point!”. Talking about “Oblio’s ‘pointless condition’ (as he was the only one there born without a pointed head)”. And, when he finally one-upped the king in the resolution’s climax, a citizen yelled out: “He’s got a point, there!”…and then, coincidentally, there started to grow an actual point on Oblio’s head, like the other citizens…
-
So I guess, the point here, just like there, is that If you hasve a pencil without a point, there’s no point in drawing…or if you tell someone about your pencil, there’s no point to it- unless there is a point to it- the pencil, that is…though maybe there’s no point to it (the story, not the pencil…I think….), unless there is but the listener has to let you get to the point- of the pencil…no, sorry, I meant the story, not the p- oh, just forget it! There is no point! …..To the story!… no, the pencil!… I mean both!…. I mean… Oh, j-….just…. never mind!…
Like friends have done forever, they pun the poop out of each other, but still love each other, as BFF’s. That is a pleasant, and funny expression of love and friendship, which in a different way, was what the arc was with Les and Ann. Two grifters, who love each other, in the mildly sociopathic way they do. Sweet actually. More to come on that score, but no that was also love.
@THANTILIZE: Well, congratulations to you! Do you know the gender yet? Whichever, as long as the baby is healthy, that’s what’s important. Sure hope you’ve already started a college fund…

Take your pick.
Maybe dull and without a point will refer to a new arc?

Evans loves these Sunday scenes of Bernice and Luann in Luann’s bedroom so much, I doubt that Luann will ever move out of her parents’ house.

Are you sure?

Luann is getting a little style in her replies to Bernice. I wonder if she is influenced by Tara.
Argythree about 7 years ago
@KENHENSE: She doesn’t have to be influenced by Tara to finally begin to realize that her ‘friend’ considers herself so much superior…

No way Luann is dumb enough to not know what Bernice meant.

Sometimes being dull is a good thing. Such excitement can be dangerous with a horrible life changing end.

A pun is always judged by how bad it is. The worse it is, the better it is (See “Pearls Before Swine” Rat’s comments). I give this an eight.

Luann’s point is that Luann’s pencil was dull (didn’t have a point). Bernice was dull, and still is, and didn’t get Luann’s little pun!
