Why would anyone in their right mind be happy that it is dark at six o’clock?

When you get up at 4:30am to be able to get to work on time it doesn’t matter where you start midnight.

This is what happens when you let clocks rule your life.

Leave it on Standard and let people and organizations change schedules as needed. The greenhouse I work at has three different schedules through the year. One of those is because of the fall switch to Standard. Now that there is more Daylight Saving Time than Standard, Standard has become sub-standard.

They don’t look like they’re happy about it being dark at 6:00. I know I’m not. Ugh. I hate real time.

If you live more than 23 and ½ degrees away from the equator you will find this a naturally occurring situation in those laces that practice the stupid habit of changing their clocks twice a year.

Is the picture, but not the balloons, flopped (Bizzaro does this frequently)? Either it was or Mr. Johnson put in random dots for stars which look remarkably like Aquarius reversed.

I live just inside CST (east Alabama) and my daughter lives near the western edge of EST in Tennessee. She gets almost an hour of daylight more than I do whether it is regular or DST. I am so envious! And I love DST for that reason…it was dark well before 5:00 today and by the winter solstice it will be dark about 4:00! I’m retired now, but it used to be so depressing to get home after dark and it wasn’t really late in the evening. Ugh!!!

I don’t get the whole daylights saving time any more. Our universe is in motion regardless of us and we get what we get. It’s dark,it’s dark. It’s light, it’s light. Just embrace everyday.
