Time for Brad to get a makeover – Toni style!

Guess it is still a family friendly cartoon when they don´t show it.

Toni’s at least as hot to trot as Brad.

But what will TJ and/or Jonah/Shannon do to toss some water on their fire?

A hot reply from Toni – but since we are not going to SEE what Toni is talking about, I wish we would move to another story. I’m ready for Luann & Tara at the Lingerie Party.

I am sure Brad will happily help on that project.

Hate to say it, but MOOSE may be right. The last time Toni and Brad had time off together, Jonah showed up at the front door right when they were about to do the deed. So I guess the end of this arc will be Shannon after all…

I think this is so beautiful. I love Toni’s dreamy eyes in the last panel—eyes only for Brad. They should definitely check into a nice hotel and spend some much needed time as a couple.

“You” can be a lot of things. Knowing Toni is a person of ‘simple tastes’, she could just be content with being next to Brad, whatever they’re doing.

And, of course, barring anything like getting into a street fight while taking a leisurely stroll through “Badstreet, USA”…or being hoist upon a torture rack…or a “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” binge marathon….or constantly checking your bank account, to see who’s taking money out…or waiting in a line for tickets to a really bad play…or being yelled at by Chef Gordon Ramsay….or being contestants on “Fear Factor”…..or….

Next week, we will see Brad in the bedroom dressed up like LMFAO dancing to “I’m Sexy and I Know It”.

Three days of soft loving words for the first year anniversary and people are already climbing the walls. Reminds me of when I was a kid and would close my eyes with a mental “ewwww, gross” when the actors cuddled on the screen. :)(Of course they have the right to say it, but the reaction amused me)

Where I live, firefighters schedule is two 24-hour shifts a week, and five days off. I Brad and Toni get the Captain to make at least one of those coincide, they have plenty of time together.

It’s the nature of this strip to consist of several interwoven threads, one of which is (now) Brad & Toni. Sorry. Maybe you’d prefer a different comic. They’re all only a click away. No-one’s stopping you.

But I Suddenly I have this Image of Toni as a Savage Jungle Queen, wearing only a Leopard Skin Thong Bikini Bottom, Swinging from the Trees and Pouncing on a Halpless Brad, “The lost Hunter in Jungle,” and Claiming HIM as HER Mate.

Swinging on a Vine and Carrying Him off To Her Cave and later, Showing Him NO ‘Mercy’ Despite His Fervent Pleas.

And Then Later Going over to Tiffany’s Dorm and watching Star Trek Marathons with Gunther and Tiff……,

I was surprised by the sexy reply from Toni, especially after a year of marriage.

Please don’t trot out the old chestnut of Jonah showing up at the moment they are about to go off for a weekend with Shannon in tow. That’s been done to death.

I can underastand why many fear a case of “Jonas Interruptus” looming….after all, with that guy, it’s usually “one thousand times bitten, twice shy”…

While I can whole heartedly agree that a healthy, romantic and sexually vigorous life between the members of a newly married couple is desired, appropriate, expected, and hoped for…. for me it creates what to me reads as a rather “bland” story for Luann.

For me (again I know others disagree), this end point today really only ended with me thinking “Oh, ok. Toni is feeling physically amorous towards Brad at the moment.” But, geez, I would hope and anticipate that this is true of both Brad and Toni most nearly every single day! So, as a story point….. to me…. rather dull as a conclusion to a week’s worth of panels.

While I will of course follow the arc wherever it leads, and I hold firm that in the grand scheme of things Greg has a plan where this will lead. I would relish if a twist came tomorrow or next week in that something brings Shannon to the forefront again or TJ becomes featured…. or BOTH. It would (for me) liven things up a bit.

Very sweet story line. I must be a romantic cause I love it!

What a fantasy life Evans has! Brad is a great guy, but in real life a woman like Toni would not be attracted to a man like Brad. Just doesn’t happen.

If I were Greg ( or Karen), I’d make a point of staying away from a Jonah/Shannon intrusion at this time, specifically because it has become too much of a “trope”.
