Unseen fourth panel shows Goat going up to Pastis, at his desk, and asking him if it’s all right for comic strip characters to divorce from their creators, to which Pastis replies, “Nope.”

Looks “retro” enough to be quadrophonic… you know… four way…

Just don’t put on “Hi Infidelity” By REO Speedwagon. It will explode.

I thought high fidelity was how friends greeted each other.

Oop, sorry. That’s high five. Never mind.

Makes me wonder if there’s a correlation between Ashley Madison and those lo-fi Bluetooth speakers that are all the rage these days.

It looks like it has a turntable? Do they still make those? Yes, they have them al over the place in Cuba, you know like the old cars. However, know one has an album to play, because Fidel got high and burned them all!

Back in the day, I had a Macintosh amp, a Dual turntable, Bose speakers, and about 150 albums. I still miss vinyl.

Really corny, but it got a big laugh out of me. Guess that shows where my sense of humour lies.

I still have the receipt for my compact stereo set, purchased in 1983 at the long defunct Eaton’s department store.

No longer retro. Vinyl sales are climbing every year. I just replaced my turntable with an A/T direct drive, magnetic cartridge unit which also has a usb output.

For people who ask the question, do they still make turntables and do people really buy and use them. Absolutely. Nothing can compare with the live sound from vinyl. CD’s are cold things, only useful for long trips when your car doesn’t have SiriusXM. I listen to my stereo with the turntable whenever I can. They sell songs from the old rockers to the new rap on Vinyl.

Actually, turntables are back. And so are legwarmers and stirrup pants. It’s not all good news.
