Ah, so that’s where Bern’s been hiding out.

Maybe they can spend the rest of the night trying on what Dez bought.

It looks like Trek is at Bernice’s now and there is no Gunther to be seen. What could have possibly happened to him?"

1. Gunther is still in mourning over Star Wars: The Last Jedi and needs to see Tiffany’s new-found Trek enthusiasm to snap him out of it.

2. Tiffany finally met her dad’s new girlfriend and realized it was really Gunther.

3. Gunther found some of Dez’ good stuff and his brain has not yet returned to the land of Trek.

4. Rosa Aragones.

5. Gunther locked himself into his room after Mr. Gray proposed to his mother and is undergoing a hunger strike until his mother says, “No.”

6. Gunther and Tiffany got into a horrible fight about whether Kirk was a better captain than Picard and they haven’t spoken to each other since.

7. Evans is just as tired of Gunther as I am.

So Borenice and Paris have found common ground! Boldly going where we never thought they’d ever would go: To friendship land! BTW, where’s Gunther Spock?

I admit to being surprised that Bernice and Tiffany are watching Star Trek without Gunther, because I thought he was the reason why they were watching it…

Weekly Trek nights! This is certainly a new development. As Spock himself would say… “Fascinating.” And as Mordock said just before, Nice going Gunther!

And please get Tiffany out of her gray sweats. Just because she gained weight does not mean she gotta wear boring sweats. There are plenty stylish plus-sized clothes out there. Dez is plus sized and doesn’t wear sweats.

It’s interesting that two of the major arcs have just merged.

Tiffany is going to save the day. Good.

looks like I was wrong about what exactly Ann was doing on the lingerie parties, but we shall see if either ( or both ) Tiff sees Ann is selling low quality at quality prices and/or that Ann is new GF of Daddy and we will get to see what he looks like

Just where is Gunther? Star Trek is loved by millions, and it is possible that they have become love to watch the show and it is not necessary for Gunther to be there unless he decides to show up. I have a feeling that this will be a very interesting week.

By the way, if you enlarge the first panel, you will see that one of the white dots in the vicinity of the USS Enterprise is not a star, but is R2D2 floating in space. Nice Easter Egg, there Greg!

It would be even better if Tiffany and Bernice wore those mini-skirted uniforms the female space offices wore on that 60s’ TV series (yeah, I keep bringing it up). Tiffany should know. Back in this strip’s heyday, she always wore a cheerleader’s uniform in school. Even on days when the school didn’t have sporting events or pep rallies. With the way Tiffany look these days, her space officer’s uniform would now be size triple X! LOL.

Is it just me, or is Tiffany looking a little bit thinner?

Wait until Bernice finds out who sold that stuff to Dez, assuming that Ann ever used her real name. Also wait until Dez tells Bernice that she spent her rent money and can’t contribute anything towards that month’s expenses.

It’s really nice and sweet to see Tiffany hanging out with friends like Bernice, and not have that be oxymoronic type thing. Plus the Star Wars interest. As Tiffany mentions, she needs caring human companionship. It should be interesting to see her take on the “bargains” that Earth mother Dez brought in. As WizG pointed out earlier the arcs are converging. I am very intrigued to see how this will turn out. There are so many paths this can take, and remember that Tiffany is close to Gunther, who is dealing with a proposal of marriage by Mr. Gray, Les’s uncle, to his mom, making Ann, the mini-skirt grifter a possible relative.

Has anyone mentioned how much the lingerie logo looks like a “$”? I must have missed it. Very clever Greg.

What? Don’t tell me that sleazeball hit on you, too?!

May have already been pointed out (don’t read all of the comments everyday), but anyone notice he SL logo is very much like the YSL logo?

Lose the drab sweat suit, Tiff. With the chubby face and enlarged chest, it makes you look like a candidate for a heart attack. Free up that cleavage and show some skin.

I may have read this suggestion before, but, especially since the arcs seem to be converging: could Tiffany’s dad’s new girlfriend be Ann Eiffel??!!

Alright, who was it that undermined Tiffany’s confidence? Was it Piro when he ignored her attempted seduction in an attempt to get him away from Bernice so Gunther could have her? Whatever, Greg has betrayed his designated cute, trophy girl and turned her into the Pillsbury Dough Girl.

‘Skill sets’ will come into play this week on Luann:

A former boss of mine (very sorry to see him retire) noted to his folks how he appreciated their ‘skill sets’, and would nicely request them to help him when an issue arose, noting that they could help so much with what he was needing to fix a problem.

We STROVE to help however we could – he was an inspiration, indeed! He is fine and deservedly retired with his family, quite happy, too. It was just so sad that he left.

By the way, he was an Army Major General, and served in Vietnam. And HIS ‘skill sets’ (not just military) were deeply respected.

He reminded me of my first boss – also a ’Nam vet who served as a Marine – one of the best influences in my life.

And back to ‘skill sets’ here – Tiffany’s experience will come into play, absolutely!! I think the dots here WILL be connected! -CtE :)

In a way, this week’s story has a ‘Star Trek’ plot written all over it, I will bet!! Good forces – (Luann/Bernice/Dez) will combine with another (Tiffany) and discover just what cheap products Ann Eiffel has been peddling!

Is it only me or do any of you also see an orange banner with “Learn about navigation changes here” on it when you open any comic for the first time (or even when you return to it later)? Most annoying!
