Uh-oh spaghetti-o, Elvis is going to blow!

Puck is so happy to get second breakfast and then there’s Lupin, face planted in the dish :D

OK a new survey question. This one might be a tough one. Which character is your favorite and why? Keep this thread for just characters we have already seen in the newspaper strips. I will start another thread below for yet to be introduce characters. I am going to wimp out on my own question and not actually pick one because it is too hard. I love Lupin for his sense of adventure and humor, Puck for his sensitivity and charts, Elvis for his serious news side and soft side that he tries to keep hidden. Tommy I love because he is Tommy.

Not everywhere, Elvis. Like any cat, you’ll find the place in the house where it will be least appreciated.

Looks like Woman emptied the food container. Well boys, you’d better hope there’s more stashed somewhere! If Woman’s phone worked she could text Man to pick up some more. Oh, the best laid plans of voracious cats! ;-) >^.,.^<

Pucky’s little “YES!” paw pump in panel one. ;) Lupin’s “Fluffapurrmas Rex” incisors in panel two. Elvis’s chipmunk cheeks in panel three followed by his “I can’t believe I ate the whole thing” look in the last one.

Yeah, I have one who does the face plant in the food followed by need to barf- usually, as I’ve said before, on the rugs and furniture. Mine seem to prefer that to Lupin’s choice of behind the fridge.

I can’t believe the Woman fell for it. Although, in her defense, I suspect she still has not had any coffee. She will probably just get it poured when Elvis will begin that wonderful sound usually reserved for 4:00 AM.

I wonder if the people have any oriental rugs….they seem to be a cat barf magnet in our house. Of course, except for bath mats they are the only rugs in the house which might account for it. At least they are low pile…anybody else remember shag carpets? Absolutely worst decorating trend ever.

I can’t decide if that’s a bag or a tub that the food is being poured out of.

If it’s a tub, my comment would be,

“…out of one tub, into another (three)”.

OMC, I have just laughed so hard I’m crying. And of course, woke The Cats Who Own Me who are now looking for their own second or possibly third breakfast. That depends on how early they woke up my husband before he went to work.

Good morning and happy Caturday, fellow BCN orbsters!! Warm hugs, bumps and boops to all and sundry. My bonus strip this morning was one from the original Christmas special, where Elvis meets Tommy in the last panel. All is well here, a chilly day where our winterfest starts. Speaking of our sundries, Yum Yum does not demand a second breakfast, however her appetite for her Temptation treats is insatiable. Every little thing we do in the apartment is an occasion for her to demand treats. LadyBri, dear, I e-mailed you yesterday. Did you get it?

They certainly are odd cats … normally they are perfectly able to spread the meal over a day. :)

When my cats overeat and then throw it up, sometimes they re-eat the food more slowly. How efficient. (I usually have to leave the room at that point.) However, I let them re-eat in peace, because it means less for me to clean up later!

Good Morning, Fellow Orbsters! Thank you so much for all your supportive comments yesterday! Today, for the first time in days, I woke up feeling human instead of like a limp dishrag someone wrung out too hard. I think I’ll survive the move! My cats seem to be adjusting very well.

The bonus strips are reminding me how much I long for more volumes of BCN in book form. Hint, hint, Ms Georgia, ma’am! Right now I have Tommy and the rainbow and Elvis’ first interview with a new character not yet seen.

If you click on the bonus strip you will be taken to where the strip is located in its’ original order. Then you can read the whole arc, backing up if you need to. Or, if you are like me, you end up reading until the boys start talking about how nice it will be to appear in newspapers.

Hmmmm, am I imagining a progression in the third panel? Puck is still rubbing his eyes, trying to believe the full food dish is real. Lupin is wasting no time in emptying his. And it sure does look like Elvis’ dish is already empty!

I am loving the bonus strips, but we probably need to be careful when commenting on ones that might be a spoiler for someone. We can’t assume everyone is seeing the same ones or even reading them. New people might not be reading them to avoid spoilers. BCN is probably a bit unique since old strips are being redone, so old strips could also be potential future strips.

Aw hell. You don’t need to feed a cat twice for it to have two meals at one sitting.

It finally stopped raining long enough for me to get outside and clean up the garden today. Boy I hate the tiny little cones that come off the tree beside my house, bad enough they clog the gutters but they’re a real pain to rake up out of the lawn too. All cleaned to the next windy day and I put out some primulas for colour. I knew I had lots of spring bulbs coming up but was pleasantly surprised to see my snow drops have started flowering, everything is early this year. Perks of living on the west coast of Canada :)
