Never liked running. Biking was OK, just had to be careful of the idiots in cars. Not sure too many folks really like running. Ever see a smiling jogger?

We are walkers. Love it, have done it all our lives. Last year, the Dr. confirmed the return of my sciatic pain was actually the start of arthritis. This year, it has shown up in my other hip, my other knee, my feet and seems to have interest in my wrists!!!!!! But walking is the best exercise for arthritis, so we keep walkin’. Just not as easily, fast, long or frequently! Aging really cramps one’s style, but, to not age, one has to die, therefore, I’ll gladly continue to age, as looong as I can, Deo Volentus!!!

The same is said for juicers too. Fresh juices extracted at home will add years to your life, but washing & cleaning the said juicer will take away even more.

Also, do realize that all this exercise will add years to tail-end of life. Hence, arm-chair enthusiasts, unite!!

I have never loved running but do it regularly because I feel worse (physically) when I don’t. I have started running through the woods more, and that is a little more enjoyable.

I used to walk every day. Got non-diabetic neuropathy in both feet so I can’t go more than a few hundred yards before the feet give out. I just bought an adult trike, I am 78, and can ride that without due stress on the feet. Love it.

Doctor: Drinking and smoking will take years off your life!

Patient: Yeah, but it’ll be the Depends and Viagra years, so I’m good with that…

The life extending benefits of running are best determined by what you are running from.
