Speaking of generating heat, Tara just loaned Luann and Jack a book titled, “Fun With Friction”.

Yeah. This arc does not end here!

Poor Tara. She seems to be completely unfamiliar with Luann’s dating history and her history with chemical heat. Oh Tara. You will learn.

Cute, Tara. But, this couple won’t generate too much heat. Just a little rough and tumble in the supply closet, maybe.

Tara is a heat finding missile. Bets on who gets to be Maid of Honor in 2020, which will be about as it takes to develop this very possible final stage of the this arc.

Tara is seated apart from Luann and Jack. Perhaps this indicates she is not lab partners with them.

A pocket with a pen and a ruler along with a cable knit tie will turn this into a student smirk lab. I once had an American Lit prof that used to buy ties that were obvious seconds. The classic was one with a peacock in profile. Only thing was the head wrapped onto the back of the tie.

Great move Tara. Always with the wise crack. Always up to the challenge.

Jack’s beard reminds me of mine when I was young. My 5 o’clock shadow usually showed up right after lunch.

Luann and Jack are not going to be “generating much heat,” if Tara insist on being a “Wet Blanket” by NEEDLING them all next week.

If you create chemical cold instead, Tara has a couple of indicators you can use… ;-)

Jack may be oblivious – or else he may have intentionally spaced away from Tara’s gesture, knowing that Luann is very uncomfortable with it.

It would seem Tara is a lot more perceptive that she let on…. :) Hopefully, she’ll use this wisely and try to encourage Lu to pursue things with Jack.

And class, let’s be mindful that chemical reactions can be either exothermic or endothermic.

Tara seems to be the female troublemaker analog of Brad’s pal T.J.

That is Hormonal heat!

They are fortunate to get an actual teacher for their chemistry lab. Our main chemistry class had around 250 students. The labs were about this size, but they were “taught” by grad students with no teaching experience and heavy accents. I can’t remember doing anything in chem lab other than following the book.

Remember, kiddies – always add your chemicals in alphabetical order.

I used to have a friend who was a cop.

He told me once that, every Summer, at least half a dozen people in his town would learn all about “Chemical Heat” while adding chemicals to their new Swimming Pools.

And this time, Tara is NOT saying, “KIDDING!!” :)

Let’s stay on this arc foe a while. Gunther and Les leave a bad taste in my eyes.

I had thought Tara was going to be a new friend for Luann. Guess not…

She knows how to point.

Tara: The playful, lone wolf? Could an under cover Piro be stalking the cat burglar? No dorms in a community college but I just can’t believe that the sexy Tara is just another one of the mundane students that cross paths with Luann. (Oops, not talking about Tiffany)

Cute move, Tara! You might even force Luann to consider that she could have the hots for Jack (who still seems oblivious to what is going on)!

I like Jack and Luann as a couple. No drama from him. He seems considerate, has many interests, is motivated and has goals, and keeps in shape. Seems like a winner to me.

I wonder when Luann is going to fix Tara up with Pru.
