I hate aloe! Every year my wife has more and more of the useless things. She brought them in last week and they are on the shelves, tables, my weight bench and our sprouting area. Maybe they actually have some use, but one plant would probably be plenty!

You need to keep Diatomaceous Earth dry for it to be effective so I would put it around and under the outside of the base of your houseplant that you bring inside. I know some people who kept their potted Christmas tree outside and when they brought it in to set it up at Christmas time the Ants that had made a home in the soil woke up from
