If it weren’t for bad luck I’d have no luck at all.

Look on the sunny side of life.

Luckily, he’s also an optimist.

Like when a trailer park gets flattened by a tornado and they pull some muddied, shirtless guy from the twisted wreckage of all his and his neighbors’ stuff. The guy then proclaims to the wide eyed reporter that the Good Lord was protecting him. Always seemed to me that said Lord was a tad late.

Today’s comic is a real classic. I wouldn’t be surprised to see it in a best of book.

For him, the glass must always seem to be a little above half full.

It reminds me of the Laverne and Shirley sitcom. They’re gonna make it after all… The ants in the beginning might have brought the show to mind since the “girls” were often seen singing “I’ve got high hopes, just like that ant with the rubber tree plant”.

Those with a positive outlook don’t always lookout.

It’s attitude. As the man said after stepping unknowingly in a large pile of dog poo “I’m so lucky, I could have been wearing my good shoes”

Luck is what you make it. Never roll the dice until you stack them in your favor.

He is absolutely right. Every cloud has a silver lining, and you can always find some good in any situation. It’s just a matter of how you look at it.

Yep..he’s definitely a “cup is half full” kinda guy! :o)

Glass half full people are lucky.

My preacher seems to thinks there is a certain amount of bad stuff in the world. But, if you pray hard enough, the bad stuff will go to someone else. He’s crazy, of course.
