Okay, yes, I saw the second movie, but on further research, I now see there have been SIX, and the last one was actually only last year. There was apparently supposed to be a TV remake of the original movie last year – also starring Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward, but it seems it never made it onto the screen.
it fizzled (new word for me) because to keep it interesting, each time they had to add a new thing, and since the things that made sense were added first, it became ridiculous after that. So a carnivorous chicken with jet propulsion.. ok, that does not make it ridiculous. I liked the first two
“Tremors” is only one of many film series that have had way too many sequels… or prequels… or parallel universes… or crossovers… or whatever. And the ones that eventually use the word “Final” in the title? Pshh, who are they kidding? ☺
The whole Tremors franchise was great, even without Bacon. It was never about him, it was the ensemble cast that was funny & made it memorable in each one.

There were more movies after Kevin Bacon?

The original was so bad that it was good! I did see Part 2 on TV once – didn’t watch it!
MrFixit almost 6 years ago
I thought the first 3 were good, but after that, no. And then there was an attempt at a TV series, which was terrible.

These guys were always hungry for Kevin Bacon but they could never catch him, I guess he gave them the slip.

I’m not sure if that is a critique or an accusation. Either way. Good shot.

Somebody actually commemorated Kevin Bacon by making a portrait of him out of… well, you can probably guess.
After that, things got really bad.

Ah, alas, this is TREMORS of which they speak…and here I thought they had moved B.C. to Tatooine and it was a Star Wars reference…

Stop behind a metal building, see survivalist guy pass without slowing, decide they need more distance and shielding.
Good stuff. Hate I missed the most recent ones.

From the look of that, it’s not dead, and if you get close, you’ll be dinner… or at least a snack.
