Hmm, didn’t know Rat was so financially well off that he could go a week without pay.

I didn’t know today was Tuesday.

Svengoolie joke at the end of the show a couple weeks ago.

Employee is always late to work. Boss threatens to fire him. He goes to the doctor and is prescribed a drug. He takes it.

It works. He is amazed. He gets up in plenty of time to go to work. Gets to work early. Walks right up to the boss and says, “See? I fixed the problem!”

Boss says, “Okay. Now where were you yesterday?”

Rat’s sorry attempt to bypass Mondays.

“So seldom is the occurrence that we bring up the fact that Rat has a job that we have to have his boss establish both that he is his boss and that he works at the cafe during the phone call, even though Rat would know that already” – The Management

Actually, it’s Monday – Memorial Day; and, yes I know, the cafe is probably open on holidays.

But it’s not Tuesday. It’s Monday! Or did I nanohibearnate again?

I’m surprised Rat left the ringer turned on for his phone.

And thus Rat turns his life into Groundhog Day.

At this point, why would you even want Rat to come back?

I had a small moment of panic because I was worried that I somehow got my days mixed up and that it really was Tuesday. Thankfully, it’s still Monday and I don’t have to be anywhere right now.

RAT needs to scan the want ads now….since he didn’t get his @ss in there….

But this strip ran on Monday. Is neither Saturday nor Tuesday.

How does Rat manage to work as a President and barista simultaneously?

Reminds me of the calendar we had on the wall in the print shop. It was numbered backwards, so you could get your print job yesterday. It had no weekends or holidays, of course. It had two Fridays so we could more easily have your order done by Friday. Several other features which I’ve long since forgotten.

Rat is Jewish! Who knew? All is Shabbat.

Seems like working at the cafe would be a rat’s dream job!

Anyone can go a week without pay. The question is should you?
