All you need to get a star is for somebody to file an application on your behalf and pay the $30,000 fee. You also need to be famous in one of five areas: film, TV, radio, recording and theatre/live performance. So I’m surprised nobody in her circle has made this happen yet.

I’m sure she appreciates it, Dean. It’s coming from a true fan.

On Broad Street in Philly, there is a walk of stars commemorating the city’s great musical history. Everyone from Eugene Ormandy to John Coltrane to Hall and Oates.

And it really is. I’ll bet Carrie Fisher is really smiling about this right now.

What kind of honor is it to put, supposed relevant people’s name on the floor to be walked all over and be cr-pped and peed on (not just by animals)?I will not accept this “honor”, so stop trying to convince me to be on the floor with all those celebs. Between 8 and 10 am I have delusions of grandeur.

I’m just surprised that her Star Wars compatriots never sponsored her. I’m sure George Lucas, Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill have $30,000 to spare, they aren’t poor. That’s all it would take. It’s not like she’s being snubbed or anything.

Then I guess there’s no need for that hashtag? Get the messaging straight, Dean.
