    I’m trying to figure out his math. 1% of 1% of 200 billion is 20 million. There might be more than one Earth-like planet for each star, but I’m not sure how he ends up with billions. Maybe he’s including other galaxies.

    One percent of 200 billion is 2 billion. One percent of 2000 million is 20 million, not “Bɪʟʟɪᴏɴs of Earth-like environments.”
