Oh Luann, I think Jack is playing you to get your attention. Well, you might need to learn the art of talking with the guys. The guys outside of high school are different. It is intimidating to approach and talk to a guy you’ve never seen before, unlike high school boys you see everyday. Learn from Jack and practice.

Jack is proving to be a good friend, depending on things that could be the foundations of a great relationship once both parties realize it. Given how fast Greg has moved romance in the past I’ll say Jack is still in the running pretty good. Whomever this is; great setup for Friday/Saturday but not seeing it as a longer term thing (Luann still searching for herself and that’s why the good male friend has good potential long term).

Is this Luann’s “fall in your lap” turn? As I’ve previously mentioned, we are coming up on the winter months. Time for a nice long dating relationship to play out for Luann.

I was right. Boring story line this week.

I could be wrong but I don’t sense there will be a Jack & Luann relationship. She wasn’t that enamored when she first met him, sort of dismissing him as a ‘dumb jock’. Sure, she’s gotten to know him over time, it appears they are better as friends than lovers.

I’m just glad we all got to know Jack better and that he became Luann’s friend.

Where’s Mordock999, prattling on about the story line, now that it looks like Jack and Luann are just friends (like they have been for awhile).

I wonder where all the posters are who said that the next two days in this arc would just be Luann all by herself, wondering what’s wrong with her that she’s the only one alone.

Time for an arc that will pick things up. Let’s accompany Tiffany as she takes Bernice to Victoria’s Secret.

Hmm. Not really liking that Luann has such a Pavlovian response to being told a guy appears interested in her. But, I guess that will forever be her behavioral response. To me, this day’s effort reads as if Luann is still, pretty much always…. on the “look-out” for romance. She first talks about how Jack can be so comfortable in the casual aspects of dating, then when Jack tells her how he does it and tries to coax her to try as well, she looses her desire…. until she thinks someone is scoping her out.

I still think Luann needs to engage in some introspection…. so she can better understand who she is/wants to be…. before aiming for finding a new guy.

Maybe Quill? God I hope not. Is this just a mini Stalking Horse? Luann is clearly interested. I still think Jack and Luann are fated eventually, but maybe not. That kind of covers it.

Luann requires someone else to make the 1st obvious and noticeable move. She might think she’s signalling to Jack, her interest in him, with her eye lids or posture but that’s not sufficient. My thought when I first read these panels was that it was Jack who was noticing her all along, but maybe not.

It’s probably is Quill…..but I rather see Aaron. Unfortunately, I believe Quill isn’t interested in a romance with Luann….I think he plays on the “other” team.

We’ll have to wait until Saturday’s issue to know who he is.

Ahh, Luann. You are going to get a rep for being “easy” when in fact you are not….
