There’s been an environmental science degree for decades now which incorporates renewable energy in the curriculum. And despite what Indianapolis Smith says above, there are plenty of well paying employment opportunities with this degree.

My grandson just graduated with a degree pretty close to that. He’s now an Ecological Engineer. With a job, even!! (that’s the best part)
