I’ve got it – Friday Foster is the killer, but she’s s about to frame her assistant for the murder! Friday’s motive? She’s been in limbo for 45 years, and wants her comic strip back! “Solving” this case instead of Tracy would help motivate the Tribune syndicate to do that. (Of course this won’t be the actual resolution LOL)

“friday, have you solved the case yet?” “No i thought I’d leave it to the professional policeman but if he’s not up to it I’ll call the waiter from Au bon pain down the road” seriously dick, you’re supposed to tell her you solved it.

Friday Foster in her glory in 1970-1974 had beautiful artwork by Jordi Longaron and excellent stories by Jim Lawrence, who as a white guy still strove to create an Afro-centric world for Friday to operate in. Her suitors were all black per editorial guidelines, including billionaire Blake Tarr, jungle lord Slade King, and novelist Colt Hawkins, aka underworld figure Blackhawk. Is she showing Tracy more leg.

Did she take a picture of the deed being done but is not aware of it? Could be troubled by the fact one of the models she employed is a killer.

True to the soft porn motif, Friday is pulling up her dress to just tempt Dicko. Unbelievable, Gould rolls over.

Hmmm… Last Sunday’s strip has a prominent panel (right next to Crimestoppers) showing Olivia clenching her right fist. Today we have a panel of Friday Foster clenching her right fist … Maybe that’s a “tell”. Happy Friday the 13 Foster everyone!

Uh.. what’s all this focus on her … Er.. Um… Legs… I never knew this was such a steamy strip.

But of course, that camera has a photograph of the butler. He did it!

Panel 1: Dick’s head is way too small in proportion to his body, and the fedora is too large again. And (panel 3) if Friday can stop with the bad photography puns, she may have arrived at the same conclusion to the case that Tracy evidently has. With tomorrow being Saturday and the story ending on Sunday, there isn’t much room left for new data or exposition beyond what we already have. Tomorrow will probably be more conversation between Friday and Dick, maybe with a Reveal, and then Sunday it all gets wrapped up (in a body bag?)….
