Damn, Rat! For once, I admire your blunt honesty.

Rat may have exhausted his “honesty” quota until the next election cycle.

Hmm. I can usually fake it through two or three meetings, myself.

Rat would actually good for more than 5 minutes of pplite conversation? Don’t think so!

I think I’m good for ten to fifteen minutes tops.

Why would that concern Rat? We’ve never seen him crying!

Honestly, I’m surprised Rat is good for conversation for that long!

He feels his obnoxious coming on; he’s afraid she will (justifiably) punch him in the nose causing him to cry like a baby rat.

I wouldn’t have expected this level of self-awareness in Rat. To be honest: Of most people known to me to whom that insight would apply only very few might have that level.

I’m that way after an hour at block parties or “social” cocktail hour, except I just get bored.

Or they’ll pour beer on your head

One more drink and Rat would have gone bonkers…..

I just always keep talking until I say something stupid!

Pretty good. My limit is about 5 minutes.

I have to admire Rat for this one. He MIGHT have just shown empathy – rare for a sociopath.

I note that he said somebody leaves in tears without being specific. Maybe it’s him.

Come to think of it, I’m only good for about an hour, too.

Despite being somewhat of an introvert, I usually manage to find someone to talk to when I get dragged out of the house. And though they may eventually sneak away, it’s usually because I bored them to a frazzle rather than hurting their feelings. Usually.

Pastis can’t draw pretty women.

Oh, no!
