yet, Luann, you were too lazy to ask your parents, brother, or sister-in-law to help get out the ladder in order to find the Christmas cookie cutters in garage

Shoulda bought some new Christmas cutters if you don’t want to go to the trouble of getting the ones you already have.

In the first panel, are those white lips? Are they teeth? Neither of which Luann usually has.

Nancy is going to be really pi$$ed when she sees that Luann did not put a heat insulating pad on the counter before laying that 375 degree cookie sheet on it and damaged the counter top.

Unless you’re in some kind of cookie contest, the most important thing is the taste, not the shape…

So the cookies will be super original as well as super delicious. And this reminds me that it’s finally time to use the cake mold shaped like a snowman.

I can’t say anything. I made gingerbread cookie circles yesterday. I didn’t want to dig out the cutters (they were just under the counter) and roll out the dough. (they tasted great!)

What?!? You mean you didn’t haul them out immediately after Halloween, skipping Thanksgiving altogether – like most retail stores seem to do? Why, that’s un-American!

What a Lovely scene. Luann and the original “Cookie Monster,” Brad. These two have come a long, long, way. 25 years ago they’d be insulting each other and fighting right about now. How they’ve grown. And both have grown up with little or no “back sliding.” No reverting back to their old ways, unlike SOME characters in the Strip.

And as much as I love the Tiffany, Gunther, and Bets stories, perhaps it is time for them to take a break for a couple of months, and allow Brad, and especially Luann to return to their starring roles.

Now for some Oreos and Eggnog………,

@Templo S.U.D.: A lazy person does not bake cookies from scratch for the family. And perhaps she did not ask for help with a ladder in the garage because she might have wanted to surprise the family with cookies?

Time to give Tiffany a break and visit Bets and Gunther. Tiff has been brutalized all year long, but Greg won’t touch his new royal couple. I like Tiff but am always disappointed with the way Greg handles her. Maybe 2020 will bring her some happiness.

Round cookies don’t need a cookie cutter. And the best cookies aren’t rolled out so you can’t cut them into shapes. Chocolate chip, peanut butter (topped with a chocolate kiss), oatmeal (no raisins please), macaroons, … you name it, balls of dough are put on the sheet and placed in the oven!
