The trick for greatest range is to get them to fill all 4 stomachs with Coke first, before you give them the Mentos.

That’s weird: just a day or so ago I was wondering if anyone has ever eaten Mentos and drank Coke at the same time; everything I’ve ever seen about the two involves dropping Mentos into Coke, not consuming them at the same time. It was just a random thought, but now I see it repeated (sort of) by someone else. Weird.

The only real side effect was afterwards the milk had a bit of a fizzy but sweet taste to it.
