Mother nature is not kind to her daughters when it comes to fat.

Men were designed to be the hunter half of hunter-gather, so they need the ability to develop muscle – thank you testosterone! Yeah, there are some negative side-effects.

Women were designed to have babies. It takes a tremendous amount of energy to have a successful pregnancy. The best energy source is fat. Women who do not have enough fat stop ovulating. It is vital to the success of the species that women be able to attain and maintain fat.

Reason number 56 why I’m glad I’m not a girl. Don’t take it the wrong way. I appreciate you women and genuinely enjoy your company, but I am glad I’m not one of you. I don’t think I could make it.

Huh. I’ve found a GREAT web site for WONDERFUL lightweight loose clothing: NewChic. BTW, the other way to gain weight is to be in constant pain for seven months before the freakin’ doctors find out what’s wrong with you. My stomach just went on strike and I couldn’t eat much. Now, it’s shrunk, I’ve lost 25 pounds and I don’t crave any of the sweet stuff I used to. Also, I’m not in as much pain. . .

That’s cute, but not really true. I’ve been dieting most of my life with little results. Apparently, your weight is your weight. Those with good BMI will have good BMI, those with high BMI will have high BMI. And low BMI the same. I’m sure someone will tell me this isn’t really the case, but this has be my experience.

Keto works, although I wouldn’t recommend it. After nearly 7 years of unsuccessful attempts to get to a healthy weight I was finally able to get there with just two months of Keto. It’s very difficult and you’ll feel sick every time you accidently go in and out of ketosis. Good news is, after I stopped the diet, I managed to keep the weight off for good. I think since I got in the habit of eating more greens and generally putting more natural and healthier food in my body. I wish everyone luck who is trying to get healthier, it’s a much better life that you all deserve.

as they say in WW – men lose faster, die sooner; women lose slower, live longer.it’s all a trade off.

Metabolisms are different, it’s not really a gender thing. Some people can eat anything and everything and not gain weight, the others can’t look at food. Where it becomes a gender issue is that women tend fuss more about their figure than men, generally speaking.

I have never understood why women have so much trouble losing 5 lbs. I mean… one trip to the bathroom…

    Oh sorry, TMI?

I did that back in 1970. Stopped eating for a week. Drove my blood pressure up so high that I had a nosebleed that wouldn’t quit. Made me miss the only day and a half of school I ever missed… just because the doctor wouldn’t release me.

Started to do it again in 1978… taking QuadPlan appetite suppressant pulls… wasn’t hungry so didn’t eat for three days.

World started to swirl around me after three days so I went to eating one meal a day until I married.

To this comic, I say, “HAH!” After 35 years working nights, not eating a lot, sometimes, going a couple of days without eating, and still, I’m wide enough that when I go outside, I make 2 shadows, and somewhere on me, I think the word “Tonka” is tattooed!
