Our older son says that he recovers the lost thought by walking backwards through the doorway. BUT, he also said it doesn’t work if one has passed through two doors. Do I agree with that? Sure, for him. Me, I’m 84, and if I lose the thought, even standing in the doorway for a few minutes won’t help.
And looking at the above, it appears likely the two will collide as phone reader rarely see more than a few inches in front of their feet.
I have numerous pairs of glasses in every room in the house. I have computer glasses, TV glasses, working glasses, reading glasses and outdoor glasses.
I have to remember to take them off when I leave the room and put them in their proper places. It is annoying to come into a room to do something and then have to go into another room to fetch the correct glasses because you forgot to take them off the last time.
Maybe I could put one of those detectors on each pair of glasses that they use in stores to prevent shoplifting so every time I pass through a doorway, an alarm will go off if I am wearing a pair of glasses.
There are certain benefits to being “technology-challenged,” as well as having too little caring for it… my phone spends most of its time sitting in my truck, and is mainly used as a time piece.
