You don’t need proof of insurance to get your records; and if the hospital or doctor’s office is sending them to the insurance, there’s no charge anyway (professional courtesy they call it).
This is a painful subject today. Uninsured son is in the hospital with likely stay of a week plus follow ups. The in the red column has gotten as long as his iv’s and is growing even as we speak. The final tab probably will short circuit the Christmas lights all the way down the street. And the follow up fight will outdo the worst New Year’s hangover. Life in modern America.
Don’t even get me started on the medical / big pharma industry. I just checked my “medicines” listing lately… and the average med was billed to my insurance at $400+ a prescription. A CAT scan that took all of 20 minutes was billed at $11,000. Makes heavily-government-regulated medicine look better and better all the time.
Hey, Cute Chick actually mentioned clams instead of dollars! Would be nice to see actual clams in the strip again, instead of the ridiculous paper money..

Ah, the benefits of Trump Care. Aren’t you glad you voted for him? Didn’t vote for him, you say, well, you should have.

It’s a Catch-22! You can’t get insurance without your medical records and you have to have insurance to get the medical records.

Like? Is it 15 pages or about 15 pages? The over use of “like” is lazy and a sign of illiteracy.

There is no reason for this since they don’t get sick and ther are no more corporations where they live.
