I have learned that one should never, ever, ever ask “what could go wrong?” Because Murphy will find a way to show you the worst possible outcome.

NEVER ask “What can possibly go wrong?” The answer is always ‘Trust me, you don’t want to know!"

The launch angles need to be higher, but I understand comic format restrictions so go for it.My other advice is to fire the ornaments a millisecond before firing the tree so the tree enters the stream of ornaments.

Let me know if that works! I haven’t done the whole shibang in a couple of years. Pre-lit 3 stage trees are for me, now!
