I feel bad for anybody that actually catches a Mr. or Ms. Perfect. Mostly they expect the same…

I don’t think my “Miss Perfect” would ever dress up like that to walk the dog.

Men and women are guilty of this mannerism—-chasing what they know they can’t catch. Why? Because they’re drenched in the perfume of “denial” by calvin klein. Wow two cute college age young women taking a stroll with Puddles in the park. Luann reminds how attractive she is, but this is Sunday. Is this most likely only a comment on her constant search for Mr. Perfect, which is a very apt description of the short-sightedness they both share, but Luann is looking particularly clever in the park. Does that mean anything. or just a Sunday foible, a one-off? And does Puddles excitement mean he recognizes a dog whose master might be Jack?

There is nothing wrong with dressing nicely and expecting to meet someone special. Luann is a cute girl who is at the right age to meet a special guy. Bernice snickers, comparing Luann to Puddles, trying to catch a bird flying away from him. Ignore her, Luann. There are plenty of guys looking for special girls, too. Continue to do as you are doing, and you will find fellows flying TO you. Even if they aren’t “Mr. Right”, they may turn out to be good friends for a lifetime. You are doing exactly what you should be doing.

Tell me again: how is Bernice Lu’s best “friend”? :D

How Mr. Decent and Mr. Loving, instead?

They are all chasing the elusive blue bird of happiness.

Bernice. Maybe Luann is out of touch with reality in thinking that she’ll meet “Mr. Right,” (or, maybe even Mr. he’ll do.") while walking Puddles in the park. But at least she is at least trying to find a relationship (of some sort.) What have you done about that side of life lately, except to read about it in your textbooks, and, write student papers on it?

For many, it’s the chasing, not the catching. I doubt any of my dogs will ever catch a squirrel, but they have fun trying. Some times I think the squirrels are in on the game, because they’ll run about head-high up a tree, then stop and chatter at the dogs.

There are so many stars in the known universe, more than human beings on Earth. She should keep shooting for the stars, with luck you just never know if one of those stars will work for her. But if she never tries then she may never know. Blind fate guarantees nothing in life.

Luann already HAD a “perfect guy” (Quill) and it DIDN’T WORK.

THAT, in itself, SHOULD have been a major, “HINT.”

Maybe, just Maybe, Luann should look for a guy a lot like her. A guy with a couple of non-lethal “quirks,” who shares Luann’s interests and is a lot of fun for her to be around.

There’s GOT to be at least ONE guy like that in the town of Pitts.

Or has Luann already encountered such a “guy” and didn’t realize what she had?

PS: And NO, I’m Not talking about “Jack.”

Berniece is an interesting “friend”. Here she is taking all the air out of Luann’s “impossible” dream and quite unnecessarily so. So what if she has a wild dream of this happening? Just let her enjoy herself. And she does look nice all dressed up and feeling positive. What’s the harm? And even though the odds are against her finding the perfect love sometimes that is when it all just happens.

Chasing the Bluebird of Happiness!

Spotting a bluebird is usually recognized as a symbol of joy and happiness that you’ll be expecting in the future? The symbol of the bluebird is found in many cultures and dates back thousands of years. It can also represent hope, cheerfulness, prosperity, good health, and renewal coming your way!

Bernice is always so amused by Luann. She give her always new motivation to laugh. I love Luann positive attitude in life. Maybe Bernice is right to laugh, but Luann is right to always try her best. And who knows. Maybe Jack is in the same park with his dog.

Well, technically you can sometimes catch flies with vinegar, so maybe Bernice can meet a guy too.

Sounds like the pot is calling the kettle black.

Luann is blowing past the first rule connecting with others: If you aren’t being yourself, whatever connection you form can’t be genuine.
